Mountain Bikes once again available in Speyside

23 March 2007  |
Since the lost of Cecil's Cycles in Craigellachie, which left Lower Speyside, one of Scotland's most popular tourist destinations, without a Cycle Hire Outlet. This provided an opportunity for Kenn Walker, a member of Tourism Forum, and a local B&B operator, together with a couple of friends to established Speyside Bikes to offer bikes for hire again in this popular destination. They have purchased a number of brand new bikes and offer a delivery/collection service throughout Speyside. Within easy reach of the Moray Monster Trails and also recent improvements to The Speyside Way making it more bike friendly, something had to be done about the loss of the only Bike Hire outlet in Lower Speyside. The aim of Speyside Bikes is not primarily to make money (if they cover our set-up and operating costs we will be happy enough) but to offer a service to the many thousands of vistors who come to Speyside each year. Please take a few moments to check out the site at www.speysidebikes.com and spread the word that Mountain and Trail Bikes are again available for hire in Speyside www.speysidebikes.com
